Carol
Dental Hygienist
Carol assists our patients in improving their oral health through patient education, professional cleanings and periodontal care. She joined our office in 2000 and brought with her 14 years of hygiene experience. Carol enjoys working with our patients and getting to know them on a personal level. She also enjoys working with Dr. Wirth because of his genuine concern for his patients’ best interests. Carol has two children, twin boys, and a black Labrador retriever. She enjoys the outdoors and staying active.
Naomi
Dental Hygienist
Naomi helps our patients to improve their oral health through preventive and maintenance care, dental cleanings and patient education. She joined our team in 2010 and started her career in the dental field in 2008. Naomi enjoys meeting new patients every day and getting to know her existing patients a little bit better each time they come in. She also appreciates the relaxed working environment Dr. Wirth has created, as well as his high quality of patient care. Naomi and her husband, Steven, moved to Oak Harbor with the Navy in 2010. When she is not working, she enjoys playing basketball, riding horses, and kayaking.
Kara
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Kara is our go-to girl, assisting Dr. Wirth and the rest of our team with just about everything. She is proud to have worked here almost her entire dental career, starting in 2001. Kara loves coming to work every day to make people feel confident about their smiles. She appreciates the professional relationship she has with Dr. Wirth, which centers on their mutual goal of striving for perfection and accepting nothing short of the best. Kara was born and raised on Whidbey Island. Her athletic background has kept her active today and she enjoys an outdoor lifestyle including running, hiking, biking, surfing, and snowboarding. She recently married her best friend, Brandon, and they have an Australian cattle dog named Tank.
Christina
Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator
As our scheduling and insurance coordinator, Christina works closely with our patients, assisting them in scheduling, explaining recommended treatment options, and helping them to maximize their dental insurance benefits. She began her dental career in 1993 and joined our office in 2007. Christina loves to help people understand the importance of their dental health and celebrates with them when they achieve their desired outcome. Christina is married to a great man and they have two beautiful girls and an awesome dog.
Julie
Front Office
Julie works at our front office where she greets our patients and takes care of all their scheduling needs. Although she is fairly new to the dental field, joining our office in 2010, Julie is constantly learning about all aspects of dentistry and appreciates new challenges that come her way. She enjoys interacting with our patients and helping to make each visit to our office a positive one. Raised in Honolulu, HI and an avid live music and sports fan, Julie graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Justice Studies in 1997. She relocated to Oak Harbor in 2010 from Newport Beach, CA. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Tony, and their Alaskan Malamute, Ehu Kala Nui.
Amighanne
Dental Assistant
Amighanne helps our patients by assisting Dr. Wirth during dental procedures, as well as managing the central sterilization area. She joined our team in 2011, and loves that she learns new things about dentistry every day. She enjoys working with Dr. Wirth because he routinely provides her with opportunities to learn and improve upon her skills. Amighanne speaks fluent Tagalog and is able to share that ability with our patients. She grew up in Oak Harbor, and graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 2007. In her spare time, Amighanne loves to cook and dance, and especially enjoys spending time with her family.
